Ruthenium Three Bridges Tourbillon

A watch brand that is honest enough to position itself as a man’s watch, it has its roots in an American; Florentine Ariosto Jones, who in 1868, decided to establish a watch factory in Switzerland. Teaming up with brilliant watch manufacturer and industrialist, Johann Heinrich Moser, the manufacture grew by leaps and bounds. By the turn of the century, it became a supplier to the British Royal Navy and the Imperial German Navy.

By the early 1930s, the brand had produced advanced pilot’s watches and by the early 1940s, it had developed the world’s first antimagnetic system. In the second half of the 20th century, IWC perfected its automatic-rewinding mechanisms and introduced the now-famed Ingenieur sports watch.

In 1978, IWC introduced the world's first titanium watch case and bracelet, which at the time was thought impossible because of the difficulty of working with titanium which required an oxygen-free environment.

In 2003, the Big Pilot’s watch with the Calibre 5000 movement was launched to international acclaim; not surprising, considering the technical features that are encased in its larger-than-life 46mm case.

Watch-collectors will be particularly impressed by the special 25-piece limited platinum edition of the Big Pilot Perpetual available at Sincere’s Haute Horlogerie Boutique in Singapore. The perpetual calendar here – which shares the same movement as the Portuguese Perpetual Calendar and has an eight-day power reserve -- is re-configured for maximum aesthetic pleasure and easy reading, giving the perpetual calendar a refreshing new look. Additionally, IWC’s moonphase shows the position of the moon in both hemispheres, a design feature that is unique to IWC, making this a unique watch that can truly be appreciated and used from all corners of the world.

Limited to only 25 pieces.
