Corum

Admiral’s Cup Chronograph

Established in 1955, Corum is a relatively new player in the tradition-enriched world of horology. Yet, it has made a name for itself with iconic creations such as the totally transparent timepiece displaying an extraordinary movement with all components perfectly aligned in a bridge format; the Corum Golden Bridge, in 1980. But perhaps what is the most familiar of Corum’s offerings is its Admiral’s Cup collection, first introduced in 1960.

Admittedly, the very first version was quite different. It actually featured a square, water-resistant case, with the outline of a competing sailboat engraved on the caseback. It was named the Admiral’s Cup in tribute to the international sailing competition that was created a mere three years earlier.

In 1982, the now-famous model with nautical pennants was launched; immediately garnering the world’s attention with its unique execution and the fact that it was presented to the winners of the Mumm Admiral’s Cup that year.

In keeping with the spirit of adventure, derring-do and forging new frontiers, Corum showcases amazingly unique executions at the Sincere’s Haute Horlogerie Boutique in Singapore.

This version comes in a sleekly sophisticated and newly-designed case and bezel, as well as a fresh new interpretation of the dial. With four different colour combinations of the dial executions, these Corum Admiral Cup timepieces feature a COSC-certified chronometer and chronograph. The collection is limited to 50 watches per colour combination.
