Sincere Fine Watches Welcomes Arnold & Son

KUALA LUMPUR - SINCERE FINE WATCHES welcomes renowned watchmaker, ARNOLD & SON as part of their exclusive in-house brand through a multi-sensory experience at BABE restaurant.

The rich heritage and ingenuity of Arnold & Son coupled with a contemporary approach in creation was harmoniously complemented by the originality of Chef Jeff Ramsey. It comes as no surprise that Arnold & Son produces watches that are truly inventive and inspiring as its origins traces back to one of the greatest watchmakers to have ever lived.

In the mid-1700’s, John Arnold experienced a royal claim to fame by receiving recognition for his genius when he reinvented and presented the smallest repeater of its time to King George III when he was only in his mid-20’s. Since then, his brilliance has shown through his invention of the detent escapement, bimetallic balance and helical hairspring. Arnold’s “No.36” was the first timepiece to be called a chronometer, a term reserved for unusually precise watches to this day.

Much to the delight of watch connoisseurs and esteemed guests of Sincere Fine Watches, part of the restaurant was beautifully transformed to emulate an art gallery showcasing Arnold & Son creations. Whilst enjoying the decadent feast, Mr Fabien Durtriaux, Vice President of Sale, Arnold & Son delightedly presented each timepiece as they were elegantly showcased on the wrists of chic models.

Amongst the timepieces that left attendees awestruck were the Arnold & Son Constant Force Tourbillon limited edition of 28 timepieces, which features a patented constant force device with 60-second tourbillion, 46 mm 18-carat red gold case with anti-reflective sapphire crystal and sapphire display back for viewing the superbly hand-finished movement.

Other highlights of the night inclusive of Eight-Day Royal Navy, with in-house movement featuring the eight-day power reserve with a digital date display at 12 o’clock and the “large” small seconds at 6, Nebula (Latin for "cloud") was selected with its bridges distinctively radiating from the perimeter of the dial toward the centre, the sculptural movement, and UTTE Skeleton which powered by the new A&S8220 movement and measures just 8.34 millimetres in thickness, making the UTTE Skeleton the thinnest skeleton tourbillon watch on the market.

Watch connoisseurs were utterly thrilled with the arrival of the beauty and ingenuity of Arnold & Son in Malaysia that are now exclusively available at Sincere Fine Watches Suria KLCC and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
