Sincere Fine Watches Celebrates
‘A Very Wonderful Horological Christmas’
Featuring 100 complications from 22 of the most distinguished luxury watch brands
Sincere Fine Watches kicks off the festive season with a showcase of 100 Complications from twenty two of the most inventive watch brands in the industry. Continuing on from the success of the world’s first ever 100 Tourbillons Exhibition in 2013, Singapore’s oldest retailer continues its tradition of presenting a hundred exceptional timepieces in one location with ‘A Very Wonderful Horological Christmas’, showcasing a unique display from some of the most established watch manufacturers such as A. Lange & Söhne, Audemars Piguet, Breguet, Franck Muller and Vacheron Constantin, as well as independent watch brands such as Arnold & Son, Cabestan, Gronefeld and HYT. The timepieces will have a total value of more than $40 million, and will run from 25th November 2015 to 17th January 2016 at Sincere Fine Watches’ flagship Ngee Ann City boutique.
The 100 Complications this Christmas will represent the very best of haute horlogerie, from complications that are making a comeback in the horological world such as the fusée & chain and escapements; to revolutionary groundbreaking movements that continue to challenge traditional watchmaking and conventional timekeeping; and finally, the most complex and sophisticated of all complications - the minute repeater, where brands bring their own distinctive chime to their creations. Describing the new exhibition, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Sincere Watch Limited, Mr. Kingston Chu said, “It was my vision this year to introduce customers to a diverse and exciting group of brands, and offer the best and most unique complications from three categories (1. Illusionists: Fusée & Chain and Escapements, (2) Mavericks: Groundbreaking Movements, (3) Virtuosos: Minute Repeaters) that we feel are very relevant to the horological world today. I hope everyone who visits our flagship boutique will experience a ‘wonderful horological christmas’ with this new concept.”
Timepieces that fall into these three exceptional categories include, under fusée & chain and escapements, Audemars Piguet’s Jules Audemars Chronometer with Audemars Piguet Escapement, Breguet’s Tradition Grande Complication Fusee Chain Tourbillon and Zenith’s Georges Favre Jacot Fusee & Chain. Groundbreaking movements include Franck Muller’s Vanguard Gravity, Greubel Forsey’s QP à Équation, Harry Winston’s Histoire de Tourbillon 6 and HYT’s H3. You can also visit the boutique to listen to the unique "chime" of minute repeaters from various brands such as the Zeitwerk Minute Repeater by A. Lange & Söhne, Master Grande Tradition Grande Complication by Jaeger-LeCoultre, the Magsonic Grande Sonnerie Tourbillon by BVLGARI and the Patrimony Ultra-Thin Calibre 1731 by Vacheron Constantin
‘A Very Wonderful Horological Christmas’ will kick off with a opening cocktail party, hosted by Mr. Kingston Chu, on 25th November 2015 at Sincere Fine Watches’ Ngee Ann City boutique where he will unveil the full collection on display to media partners, brand partners and Sincere’s watch collectors.
