WPHH Southeast Asia's Grand Opening in Malaysia
Special appearance by FRANCK MULLER® Asia Pacific Ambassador,
Julian Cheung Chi-Lam

September 2014 – FRANCK MULLER®’s inaugural WPHH (World Presentation of Haute Horlogerie) Southeast Asia touring exhibition kicked off to much fanfare with a grand cocktail reception in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Held at Sincere Fine Watches, Suria KLCC on 28th August, the boutique was transformed into an exhibition gallery that featured the latest novelties from FRANCK MULLER®, with limited edition pieces created especially for the Southeast Asia region.

To commemorate this special occasion, FRANCK MULLER®’s Asia Pacific ambassador and renowned Hong Kong celebrity, Julian Cheung Chi-Lam, was invited to grace the opening alongside the Director of FRANCK MULLER® Group, Mr. Nicholas Rudaz, the Chairman of Sincere Watch Limited, Mrs. Pollyanna Chu, Executive Director of Sincere Watch Limited, Mr. Nicholas Chu and Mr. Kingston Chu, the Vice Chairman of Sincere Watch Limited. Julien Cheung wore the Vanguard Tourbillon with diamond bezel (a limited edition collection of 60 pieces that is only available in Southeast Asia).

Guests gathered around to view the specially curated exhibition of novelties, and took turns to discuss the contemporary avant-garde design of the Vanguard Tourbillon Collection and the hand-chamfered bridges of the 7-Days Power Reserve Skeleton. The ladies admired the skilfully crafted Sunrise collection, a stunning art-décor inspired timepiece that combined mother-of-pearl with diamonds.

“Following the success of WPHH in Geneva, Monaco and in Hong Kong last year, we are delighted to have the opportunity to bring WPHH to Southeast Asia, and we hope this exhibition will help us to connect even more with watch lovers in this region,” said Mr. Nicholas Rudaz, Director of FRANCK MULLER® Group. Mr. Kingston Chu added, “Sincere Watch Limited is proud to be hosting WPHH in Southeast Asia, with its grand opening in Kuala Lumpur. With a growing appreciation of Haute Horlogerie in this region, particularly in Malaysia, it made sense for us to launch the exhibition here. ”

The WPHH Exhibition was displayed in Malaysia from 28th August to 5th September before moving onto to Singapore from 12th September to 25th September. The final leg of its tour will be in Thailand.
